三、Fastening of outdoor LED display screens
Large-scale LED display screens are high-power consumption equipment. After running for a long time, due to multiple starts and stops, the terminals of the power supply part will become loose due to the hot and cold, and the contact will not be firm, and there will be false connection. In severe cases, the heat will ignite the plastic components next to it. The signal terminals will also become loose due to the hot and cold changes in the ambient temperature, and moisture erosion will cause poor contact, which will lead to equipment failure. Therefore, the fastening degree of the connectors in the equipment must be checked frequently. When adjusting the fasteners, the force should be even and appropriate to ensure firmness and effectiveness.
四、Appearance inspection of the display screen
The appearance inspection of the outdoor LED display screen refers to visual or measurement observation and inspection of the appearance of the display screen equipment.
Including whether there are any damage or cracks on the outer surface of the equipment, whether the communication and power distribution cable lines are normal, for equipment with high protection levels, although the selection of high-reliability components and connectors makes its airtightness a key factor, so it is necessary to regularly check the integrity of the seal.
For the outdoor screen steel structure, the surface paint and rust should be checked, and the heat dissipation and lightning protection equipment of the display screen should also be regularly inspected.
五、Recalibrate or upgrade
Calibration of outdoor LED display screens The theoretical life of LED display screens is 100,000 hours, but in fact, after running for about 5,000 to 10,000 hours, the uniformity of a display screen will deteriorate, begin to change, and the commercial value will decrease. At this time, it is necessary to consider point-by-point calibration.
Preparation work before calibrating the LED display screen:
- Remove dust and stains on the lamp surface and mask to avoid their influence on brightness. If you need to replace the mask, please ensure that the color of the mask is consistent with the previous one, otherwise the display will be affected, especially during the day, and there will be little improvement after calibration;
- Replace modules with poor functions: some lights are not lit, there are many dead lights, abnormal scanning, the overall lights are too dark (the resistance may be wrong), the wiring or socket problems affect the display, etc.
Ensure that the final display, scanning, and picture are normal, without too dark, constant light, continuous light, etc.; at the same time, the receiving card and other system-related contents should be upgraded regularly.
六、Regular inspections
Operators of large-scale display screens should also pay attention to inspections during operation to observe whether there are abnormal sounds, odors, or lights. If the display screen has not been used for a long time, it should be inspected in advance before it is put into use again.
It is worth noting that if the surface-mounted LED display screen is not used for a long time, its reliability will decrease. It is recommended to use it for more than 1 hour a week to reduce moisture erosion on the display screen.
七、Reasonable use
The proper operation of LED display screen also includes playing appropriate programs during use. For example, due to the light decay characteristics of LED lamps, long-term playback of the same picture will lead to large local light decay; long-term playback of high-brightness programs will cause various components to work at full load and accelerate aging;
