So, what are the specifications of small-pitch LED screens, and how to choose them reasonably?
At present, the LED display screen using COB packaging technology can achieve an ultra-small pitch of P0.78mm, with a very clear display effect, followed by P0.78mm, 0.93mm, P1.25mm. P1.53mm, P1.86mm and other specifications. These small-pitch LED series are basically used in indoor occasions, such as conference rooms, exhibition halls, shopping malls, command and dispatch centers, business halls and various public activities.
However, many customers have a vague concept of LED dot pitch and do not know which one to choose when purchasing.
Generally speaking, the smaller the dot pitch, the higher the screen resolution and the clearer the picture display. The choice of dot pitch for LED display screens is generally determined by display requirements, viewing distance, and financial budget.
Everyone knows that the smaller the dot pitch of a small-pitch LED display, the better. However, we must also understand that the price of an LED display will increase a lot with each decrease in the dot pitch of the LED display, especially for P0.7 and P0.9 specifications, which are at least several times higher than P1.53 or P1.86. Therefore, it is very important to choose a suitable LED dot pitch based on your budget and actual display needs. Generally, we have two methods:
The first method: choose according to your own viewing distance. If the normal user is very close to the LED display screen, about 1 to 3 meters, then it is recommended to choose ultra-small pitch LED display screens such as P0.7 or P.9, so as to ensure the clarity of the large screen image; if the viewing distance is about 3 to 5 meters, you can choose P1.25 or P1.53; if the viewing distance is more than 5 meters away, then choose P1.86 or larger pitch can also meet the display needs.
The second method: choose according to the budget, that is, try to choose an LED display screen with a smaller dot pitch within your budget, so that the screen resolution can be increased as much as possible.
For example, if we want to make an LED display screen of about 10 square meters and have a budget of 100,000 yuan, then we can choose a small pitch LED display screen specification with a unit price of about 10,000 yuan per square meter. Of course, if the budget is sufficient, it is better to choose a smaller pitch.
